Ride 4 - Three Leisure Rides

The first 3 leaflets are all circular rides to allow you to take in the beauty of the area on a leisurely ride.  Our 4th leaflet is aimed very much at children who might be just starting out on 2 wheels.  It features 3 suggested nature reserve locations where adults can take youngsters to practise their cycling skills whilst enjoying the nature around them.

Burlish Top Nature Reserve

Distance: 1.25 Miles 1.9 kilometres

Description: A simple out and back ride with extensive views of the Severn Valley Railway, West Midland Safari Park and beyond.

Blackstone/Devil's Spittleful Nature Reserve

Wyre Forest Nature Reserve using the old railway track

Distance: 3.75 miles 6 kilometres

Highlight: Wyre Forest is the largest native oak woodland in England.  It's possible to continue via tracks to the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre but this does involve some long, steep climbs to get there.  So after riding the railway track you could return to the car and drive up to the visitor centre on the main road.
